Coach Jarvis Mitchell and the 1Nation program have high hopes as they plan to unleash their plethora of guards through future Insider Exposure events. This crafty backcourt heavy team from Detroit, Michigan plays with passion and does not back down from tough competition.  Each combo guard that plays for 1Nation has a significantly different skill set from one another. So it will be very interesting to see how the competition game plans around Coach Jarvis’ many schemes.

1Nation embraces competition and plays up to the hype every year so it was a no brainer that they would attend some of our fiercest events to compete in. Coach Jarvis wasted no time when entering his team in our events. He praised our organization stating major exposure and talent attends every year so it was an easy decision.

1Nation will be in attendance for the Apache Memorial July 8-9 in Louisville, Kentucky and the Atlanta Summer Slam July 23-26 in Georgia.

Meet the vicious backcourt for 1Nation. First up, is Jeanae Terry (PG, 5’10, 2019). The question we should ask about her is, what isn’t she capable of? Coach Jarvis praised Terry claiming she does absolutely everything for the team. Having a 6’2 wingspan and the ability to pass and score with the utmost efficiency makes her practically unstoppable. Terry currently holds an offer from Illinois, and is receiving interest from SEC schools such as Florida and Arkansas.

Terry packs a massive punch, but Camree’ Clegg (PG, 5’5, 2018) delivers the final blow. Gaining All-State 1st team honors two years in a row has ranked Clegg the #1 Jr. in Michigan. She is primarily the primetime player that scores almost anyway possible. Clegg has the full package, the outside shot, penetration in the paint, awareness, and she is the most aggressive on the team. Camree’ Clegg will be traveling to South Carolina as she is currently committed to Clemson.

Every team needs flat-out shooters. 1Nation holds two players that have a natural instinct for shooting from long-range. Kate Macarthur (SG, 5’9, 2019) and Maddie Novak (SG, 5’11, 2019) are go-to shooters for Coach Jarvis.

Both players can shoot but have other significant abilities as well. Macarthur is a very hard-nosed player and tries to make all the hustle plays. Novak is a tall guard so rebounding is added to her skill set. Macarthur holds an offer from Clemson and some MAC schools. Novak is currently under the radar.

Last but not least is Makaila Griggs-Zeigler (G,F, 6’1, 2020). Griggs is built like a tank but is very versatile. She has the ability to play positions 1-4. She has the ability to run point guard at times which could be very scary for some teams. Her offensive game will have teams on edge because she is able to do so much skillfully. Keep in mind Griggs is only a freshman but she currently holds an offer from Clemson. Big things will come from her in the future as well.

This group of girls are very young but their chemistry is rather smooth. Coach Jarvis and 1Nation have a set of goals they wish to accomplish this year and they have their eyes on the prize. This is a warning to all the teams out there, be prepared if you cross 1Nation or you will get sent home packing.
